To celebrate the turn of the century, the Head suggested that I update the history of our school, The history of the first fifty years was published in 1962. My book is entitled:

"Altrincham Grammar School for Boys 1960-2000

40 years in the life of the school"

I joined the staff in 1963 and so have seen most of the events unfold and my reminiscences - and those of some of my colleagues - fill 200 pages. Every aspect of the school life has been covered, decade by decade.

It is intended as an entertaining history. I also hope that it will serve as a souvenir of your time with us.

The book has been professionally produced and I want to cover costs, and then any extra revenue will go to the Buildings fund.
